The stainless steel fermentation soft particle equipment is a fermenter for anaerobic fermentation (such as the production of alcohol and solvent), and the structure can be relatively simple. The fermentation tank used for aerobic fermentation (such as the production of antibiotics, amino acids, organic acids, vitamins, etc.) needs to continuously introduce a large amount of sterile air into the tank, and in order to consider the utilization rate of the introduced air, the structure of the fermentation tank is relatively low. Complicated, commonly used are mechanically agitated fermenters, bubbling fermenters and airlift fermenters.


The common sense of use of stainless steel fermentation soft particle equipment is as follows:


1. Pay special attention to the fragile and expensive parts of the pH electrode and the tank when installing, disassembling and sterilizing the tank.


2. During the fermentation process, the workbench must be kept clean, the used culture bottles and other items should be cleaned up in time, and the splashed acid and alkali solution or water should be wiped dry immediately.


3. Before turning on the power supply of the stainless steel fermentation tank, be sure to check whether the cooling water is turned on and whether the temperature probe has been inserted into the tank, otherwise the heating circuit will be burned out.


4. Before sterilizing the tank, be sure to check the liquid level in the tank, and all electrodes are required to be below the liquid level.



CIP operation mode and its impact on cleaning effect The common cleaning method adopted by modern breweries is cleaning in place (CIP for short), that is, under closed conditions, the parts or pipe fittings of the equipment are not disassembled, and the equipment and pipelines are not removed. Methods of cleaning and sterilization. Large vessels like fermenters cannot be cleaned by filling them with cleaning fluid. In-situ cleaning of the fermenter is performed through a scrubber cycle. There are two types of scrubbers: fixed ball washing type and rotary jet type. The cleaning liquid is sprayed onto the inner surface of the tank through the washer, and then the cleaning liquid flows down the tank wall. Under normal circumstances, the cleaning liquid will form a layer of film attached to the tank. on the tank wall. In this way, the effect of mechanical action is very small, and the cleaning effect is mainly achieved by the chemical action of the cleaning agent.


The radius of action of the fixed ball scrubber is 2 m. For the horizontal fermentation tank, multiple scrubbers must be installed, and the pressure of the washing liquid at the nozzle outlet of the scrubber should be 0.2~0.3 MPa; for the vertical fermentation tank and pressure When the measurement point is at the outlet of the washing pump, not only the pressure loss caused by the pipeline resistance, but also the influence of the height on the washing pressure must be considered. When the pressure is too low, the action radius of the scrubber is small, the flow rate is not enough, and the sprayed cleaning liquid cannot cover the tank wall; and when the pressure is too high, the cleaning liquid will form a mist, and cannot form a water film flowing down the tank wall. Or the sprayed cleaning liquid bounces back from the tank wall, reducing the cleaning effect.


When the equipment to be cleaned is dirty and the diameter of the tank is large (d>2 m), a rotary jet scrubber is generally used. By increasing the outlet pressure of the scrubber (0.3~0.7 MPa), the cleaning radius is increased and the cleaning efficiency is enhanced. Mechanical action to increase the cleaning effect. Compared with ball scrubbers, rotary jet scrubbers can use lower cleaning fluid flow rates. When the washing medium passes through, the scrubber uses the recoil force of the fluid to rotate, and the washing and emptying are alternately performed, thereby improving the cleaning effect.
