Under normal circumstances, it is recommended that you add about 1% of the oil, do not add too much, otherwise it may cause the particles to loosen. If more oil needs to be added, it can be sprayed after the feed is mechanically pelleted, which is more suitable for the production of high-energy feed.
In addition, the particle size of the crushed raw materials is also closely related to the production quality of the electromechanical integrated feed machinery. This is because this parameter directly determines the surface area of the feed composition. Generally speaking, the finer the particle size, the larger the surface area, and the faster the material absorbs the moisture in the steam, which is helpful for material conditioning and easier to shape.
Therefore, from the perspective of actual production, the crushing situation is directly related to the subsequent production situation. For example, if the crushing is too small, more steam is added, which is easy to cause blockage. And if the raw material is too finely crushed, it will also lead to an increase in the energy consumption of the feed machinery. On the contrary, if the particle size is too large, the wear of the ring die and the pressing roller will be aggravated, and it is not conducive to particle forming.
The processing quality of pellet feed is often affected by many factors, and it is also closely related to the production operation of the staff. First of all, when operating the feed machinery, the gap between the press roller and the die should be properly controlled. If the gap between the roller and the die is too small, it is easy to cause the wear of the die and the press roller, and at the same time, it will generate a lot of noise.
On the contrary, if the gap adjustment is too large, it will affect the extrusion quality of the material by the feed machinery. Under normal circumstances, the gap between the two is controlled between 0.05 and 0.30 mm. If adjustment is required, it can be measured with a feeler gauge, or visually without a feeler gauge. For example, taking a new mold and a new roller as an example, the visual inspection of the press roller seems to be non-reliable, but when there is no material, the host machine will rotate the press mold without driving the press roller.
It should be noted that if it is a newly equipped new mold and new roller, the gap can be appropriately reduced. In addition, it is necessary to add enough butter to the pressure roller to prevent the bearing from being burned out due to excessive temperature. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to properly adjusting the feeding scraper of the feed machinery, otherwise, it may be difficult for the material to enter between the pressing roller and the pressing die, and part of the material will be strung out from the pressing die cover.
