And the raw materials are crushed too finely, which will also cause the energy consumption of feed machinery to increase. Conversely, if the particle size is too large, the wear of the ring die and the pressing stick will be aggravated, and it will not be conducive to pellet formation.
The processing quality of pellet feed is often affected by a combination of many factors, which is also closely related to the production operations of workers. First of all, when operating the feed machinery, the gap between the roller and the die should be controlled properly. If the gap between the rollers is too small, it is easy to cause wear of the die and roller, and at the same time, a larger noise will be generated.
Conversely, if the gap adjustment is too large, it will affect the extrusion quality of the feed machinery for the material. Under normal circumstances, the gap between the two is controlled between 0.05 and 0.30 mm. If adjustment is required, feeler measurement can be used, and visual inspection without feeler is also available. For example, taking the new mold and new roll as an example, the visual inspection of the press roll seems to be unreliable, but when there is no material, the host can rotate the press without driving the press roll.
It should be noted that if it is a newly equipped new mold and new roller, the gap can be appropriately reduced. In addition, butter must be added to the pressure roller to prevent the bearing from being burned due to high temperature. At the same time, it is necessary to properly adjust the feed scraper of the feed machinery, otherwise it may make it difficult for the material to enter between the pressure roller and the mold, and some materials will be stringed out from the mold cover.
